Making, Maturing, Multiplying and Mobilizing Disciples of Jesus Christ
Victorious Disciples Institute seeks to make, mature, multiply and mobilize disciples of Jesus Christ. To this end, we provide quality, biblically based, Christ-centered education, aimed to transform the lives of believers and develop kingdom leaders. Course offerings will be introduced gradually over the next 3-4 years as we build a curriculum divided into four phases as described below. Individuals may elect to go through all four phases sequentially (recommended) or select the specific phase that best fits your need. Certificates are awarded at the completion of each course, with special recognition for individuals who complete the full curriculum.
Phase 1 – MAKING DISCIPLES
Are you embarking upon a newfound journey with Christ? You may be asking yourself the question, “I’m saved, now what?” Participating in a small group will help you learn the fundamentals of the Christian journey, as you walk alongside others. On the other hand, you may be a more mature believer who either desires to be renewed spiritually or wants to learn how to disciple others more effectively through small groups. Wherever you may find yourself in your spiritual journey, you can benefit from Phase 1.
Phase 2 – MATURING DISCIPLES
The Bible clearly lays out a plan for spiritual growth. Spiritual growth occurs as the spirit-man is progressively formed into the image of Christ. Thus, spiritual formation is not about having a wealth of biblical knowledge, but it is about being transformed by that knowledge. This phase will help you learn skills to catalyze spiritual growth in your life through spiritual disciplines that God uses as instruments to facilitate growth.
Phase 3 – MULTIPLYING DISCIPLES
Are you comfortable sharing your faith? Do you know how to lead someone to Christ? Are you actively making disciples? We have been commissioned to “go and make disciples…and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matt 28:19-20). The Great Commission is two-fold: we are to make disciples and teach them. Phase 3 will help take your witness to the next level as you learn how to share your faith (evangelize) and how to help others grow in their faith (make disciples).
Phase 4 – MOBILIZING DISCIPLES (Pre-requisites: Courses from Phase 2 and Phase 3)
Has God called you to mentor, shepherd, disciple or lead others? Phase 4 will educate, equip and encourage individuals for kingdom leadership within the local church, the body of Christ, and the marketplace. This phase will offer hands-on learning through practical application and practicum experience (as available). It will help sharpen your unique abilities, knowledge, gifts, and skills, to aid in strengthening the local church, multiplying disciples, building the body of Christ, and advancing the kingdom of God.
COURSE 101: VICTORIOUS DISCIPLES SMALL GROUP
Course Description - Whether you are a new Christian or a seasoned Christian, being a part of a discipleship small group will provide you an opportunity for spiritual growth and a sense of community. You will come to know Jesus more deeply and follow Him more closely. The Victorious Disciples Small Group will help you experience real-life change as you discover the following:
· How to study the Bible
· Your unique personality and spiritual gift(s)
· An effective prayer life
· Increased faith
· The way to experience a Spirit-filled life
· How to become a disciple maker, and much more

COURSE 201: SOUL CARE
Course Description - In a world that places constant demands upon your life, how do you take care of you? What do you do when you hit a brick wall spiritually and emotionally? How do you remain emotionally healthy during the pandemic? Have you asked, “Why is my spiritual life so dry? And where are the rivers of living water?” This course will provide you with tools to gain a developmental understanding of the spiritual life which recognizes how the Spirit works through seasons of difficulties, dryness and pain. You will learn how to watch for burnout, and to order your life towards wholeness, emotionally healthy spirituality, and long-term spiritual health and vitality.

COURSE 202: DISCERNING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS
Course Description - Do you understand your personality type? Do you know what your spiritual gift is? Do you know where your personality and spiritual gift fit in ministry? on your job? or in the world? Vital to being a Christian, is that of understanding your spiritual gift and God-given purpose. This class will help you discover your spiritual gift, who God uniquely gifted you to be, and how your spiritual gift is tied to your purpose.

COURSE 203: SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES AND SPIRITUAL FORMATION
Course Description - The Christian life is about being formed in the image of Christ. How do we become more like Jesus? How do our lives begin to reflect more and more of Him? The Disciplines are not an end themselves, but they are a vehicle God uses to form the spirit within you. This course will lead you on the path of spiritual growth through incorporating the Disciplines into your daily life. Learning and applying the Disciplines that Jesus practiced, such as prayer, silence, solitude, meditation, and others, will open the door to a life of inner transformation.

COURSE 301: NEXT LEVEL DISCIPLESHIP
Course Description - Are you making disciples as Jesus did? Are you adhering to the Great Commission? Does your church have a Spiritual Growth Path and Spiritual Growth Outcomes for its members? Can they articulate your strategy for making disciples? This course will examine the biblical foundation for discipleship, help you assess your disciple-making approach, and provide practical steps on how to implement or enhance your discipleship strategy for your church. Recommended for senior pastors, discipleship pastors, church leaders, and small group facilitators.
